Work won’t let me work
Say I need to see a doc
Because I been doing a good job
But I been coping with a little pot…after hours

Doc says I need medicine
Something handled with gloves
Something made by man
Which means sent from up above

Not grown in the ground
But grown in a lab
By teams of people you don’t know…getting paid

Doc says more medicine
I’m reacting well to the side effects
It’s normal but it can be unpleasant

Oh, but you’re not covered by insurance anymore

Gimme a little factory
A little global shipping
Counting the profits
Taking pills and sipping alcohol
